The Pallas Athena Women’s Fighting Championship (PAWFC) is leading the charge in the evolution of women’s mixed martial arts (MMA), announcing an elite lineup of female fighters that will be competing in their upcoming PAWFC III event taking place in Calgary on March 9, 2024, at the Nutrien Western Events Centre at Stampede Park.
This is PAWFC’s biggest event of the year. As if the hype meter isn’t already at its peak with a stacked card on schedule, the announcement of a special guest appearance from Cris Cyborg, Felicia Spencer, and UFC Legend “The Iceman” Chuck Liddel has set a new bar for women’s MMA live events!
The Fighters Scheduled
PAWFC is set to have a stacked lineup of standout fighters to its Calgary event lineup.
Among the elite is Lexi “Lady Koszmar” Rook, celebrated as a Top 10 Pound for Pound fighter in the UK/Ireland, and the beloved Andy “The Crasian” Nguyen, known for her dynamic personality and skill in the ring.
In a commendable move, PAWFC continues to support the 145 lb. Featherweight category, spotlighting talents like Miranda “She-Hulk” Barber from the USA and Canada’s own Khaya MacKillop.
This decision showcases PAWFC’s commitment to diversity and inclusivity and ensures that fans can anticipate a riveting showcase of strength, skill, and spirit from these remarkable athletes.

This year’s PAWFC event is honoured to welcome an esteemed roster of special guests, each a luminary in the world of MMA.
Chuck Liddel
Highlighting the lineup is Chuck Liddell, an MMA pioneer and former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion, whose legendary career played a crucial role in catapulting MMA into the mainstream sports and entertainment arena. Beyond his guest appearance, Liddell will offer an exclusive opportunity for meet and greets with fans holding VIP Access. There’s also a chance for general admission ticket holders to upgrade for a personal meet and greet with the former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion.
Cris Cyborg
Joining him is Cris Cyborg, celebrated as the only Grand Slam Champion in women’s MMA history, a testament to her achievements across major MMA promotions. She is the current Bellator Women’s Featherweight Champion and has also held titles in the UFC and Strikeforce!
